To meet the needs of itinerant travellers, Camping Pause Loire has created a dedicated “hiking” area, accessible to cyclists, walkers, canoeists, and kayakers.
Each pitch offers a simple and functional setting, perfect for a break along your route. You’ll find a picnic table for meals, a bike stand to park your bike easily, and, if needed, electricity access to charge batteries, GPS, or phone.
Ideally located, these pitches are close to sanitary facilities and just a few steps from the Loire à Vélo entrance, right behind the campsite reception. Everything is designed to minimise detours and let you fully enjoy your stop.

DK'Bane
Since spring 2022, Camping Pause Loire has been offering several DK’Bane cabins, an ideal solution for travelling guests looking for greater comfort while preserving the spirit of adventure.
Located in the heart of the “Hikers’ Area”, these cabins provide you with a dry place to spend the night, a restful sleep, and the energy you need to continue your journey along the Loire the following morning.
Designed for cyclists and hikers, they are equipped with two single mattresses, electricity, a table with chairs, and a bicycle rack located at the rear of the cabin. For added convenience, sleeping bags can be rented on site.

Cottage
New for 2026!
Since July, we have been offering Cottages, a simple, practical, and welcoming accommodation option, ideal for travelling guests looking for a comfortable stopover along the Loire à Vélo route.
Halfway between a mobile home and a stage chalet, this accommodation is specially designed to host up to four people, whether they are cycle tourists, hikers, or campers looking for a private space for one or more nights.
The Cottage provides a pleasant and practical setting where you can relax and recharge before continuing your journey, while enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside just outside Nantes.
Sleeping bags are available to rent on site.
